QUALIFICATIONS

21+ years of age
Must have cannabis garden experience
Must be open-minded, motivated, optimistic, energetic, and detail-oriented
Must be passionate and excited to grow alongside our company
Must be able to work 40 hours a week or more.
Must be able to stand/sit for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 50 lbs

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for helping the Grow Department meet the production demand quantity and quality for the wholesale locations in accordance with California Cannabis Society’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
Responsible for completing any work assigned to them during their scheduled shift, as well as information sharing.
Communication with the management team and other co-workers.
Responsible for following all operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information, and policies when performing duties.
Manage plants from vegetative state until harvest.
Oversee all the tasks in the grow: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliage and preventative sprays, waste disposal, and inventory management.
Work closely with Lead Plant Manager on a daily basis
Work together with trimmers in order to cultivate a product that can be trimmed, cured and packaged all on site.
Manage plant scheduling, tracking, and organization.
Execute preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Develop and maintain knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as legal plant treatment options. This must include a keen eye for spotting issues before they become a problem.
Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
Harvesting, drying, curing, trimming, and packaging cannabis effectively and efficiently.
Maintaining moisture control of yields.
Recording wet/dry weight of plants.
Tracking regulated waste from fan leaves and branches.
Preparing documentation and processes for cannabis waste disposal.
Recording temperature/humidity in dry and cure rooms.
Other cultivation duties as needed.

COMPENSATION

$20 to $25 per hour depending on experience.
